Hello everyone! It has been a fantastic week here in Winslow, AZ of course, as always, why would it not be. It has also been quite busy! We had our Christmas parade as I mentioned last week, and it was an absolute blast, and it was a success! There was so many people, I'm talking 30,000 people, at this parade. We ended up doing a hot chocolate booth before and that was also quite successful, we did it right on the corner in Winslow, AZ, what a wonderful sight to see. So Saturday was a long day, but worth every minute! On Sunday, we saw a huge miracle. At the end of sacrament meeting a man came into church and was holding a book of Mormon. He told us he was walking on the street, headed to Church's Chicken to pick up and sliders, and saw it on the ground. He picked it up and started reading it and just happened to be led to the church more than a mile away. He is a returning member, but in a part member family and we are going to start teaching his girlfriend too! It was so neat to talk to him and learn more about his life and see a change in his heart, he has been prepared! Which leads me right into the spiritual for this week. My companion mentioned to me a scripture this week that is really been impressed upon my mind! It is Psalms 119:59, I know nobody is gonna look it up so here it is," I thought on my ways, and turned my feet unto thy testimonies." This is directly related to repentance! When we come to a realization that we need to change or be better, we think on our ways. Then comes the action, TURNING our feet, repentance is an action word and it involves a change of course and DOING things differently. Here is my joke for the week. What's the fastest liquid on earth? Milk. It's pasteurized before you can even see it.
