Hey everyone! This week has been an awesome week! My companions and I have continued to find people to teach and that are interested in learning about our church! It's so exciting seeing people progress eternally here on earth and see how much joy it brings them. We have been teaching this family with a mother and three older daughters and an older son. The mother and son were baptised years ago but the daughters haven't been yet. We have been teaching them for a while and they were being taught before I got here but we have them on date! It may have to get pushed back a little because of some issues but they have committed to being baptised! And we have been working with out branch president and relief society president to get the mother in the relief society presidency! We have also been teaching this older man and his grandkids and they are what we call the elect. Their hearts were softened before we contacted them and they are completely ready for the gospel. They have been coming to church and reading their scriptures and are enthusiastic about it all! We also have befriended a man in Page named Mike that has become really close to us and he is an awesome man and he is way funny. He is a returning member but we are trying to work with the stake presidency to get him to be the stake mission leader! We all think he would thrive there because he works so well with missionaries. We have helped him out with a bunch of stuff and he has bought us a bunch of meals haha a fair trade. We also had zone conference this week in Tuba City with President Ackerman and his wife as well as interviews. I just want to say how awesome they are! They are so loving and they really do care about each of their missionaries. They have high goals for the mission that stretch us a little bit but that's the only way to grow. And I would say if it were an option, sister Ackerman would be my 3rd mom. I also got the chance to see one little arm of the grand canyon today and it was incredible! Anyways, I know our heavenly father loves each and every one of you and he wants you to be happy! I know that the Book of Mormon is the keystone of our religion and it is the key to our happiness! A way I like to put it is that if you look out for the lord and his children, he will look out for you. Thank you so much for the emails and support! I love you all! Also I'm gonna try to start doing a joke of the week from now on. This is the first one. The hardest part about being vegan is waking up every morning to milk the almonds.
