Thank you all for your birthday wishes.
I hope all is going well. We have been trying to work hard this week. It seems that a lot of the things that normally worked in the past to find those that are waiting to accept the gospel don´t work that well in this ward. We are looking for other ways to find. This week has been a good week. We started the week with a zone conference where we learned about how to use our Area Book better (the records of the missionary work in our sector.) It helped us see several ways we can improve. Every day this week I have been listening to the General Conference talks from this past conference and other conferences. They are inspiring! The power of the Lord´s voice through his prophets is incredible! Also this week we as a district have been working really hard to find. Now we are going to focus a little more on learning how to be better instruments in the Lord´s hands to bring these people closer to Christ. Also this week we started our English Classes. We had 15 people come. We have 12 references of people to visit. We are also getting to know more members and trying to find by asking them for references and for them to participate in the English Classes. Well I've got to go but I just want to say that there is so much more that I can do to improve. The Lord has blessed us with the gift of repentance - A gift that will allow us to have access to his mercy which can save us and make us better than we are. I am so thankful for the scriptures and the living Prophets and Apostles we have. I am thankful that the Lord has given me this time to improve and be better. I know that this is His church. I know he is desires that his children turn to him and that so that he can bless them abundantly.
ps...my companion said he got to know Elder (Corbin) Tesimale in the Colombian MTC!
