Tomorrow will be the 3 month anniversary of getting to the CCM! SHEESH. Time sure has flown! I've fully acclimated to the missionary life, so now it doesn't even feel slightly weird! Not that I don't miss all my peeps back in AZ though.
Anyways, this week has been a good one as always. Elder Blake and I taught about 35 lessons, which is AWESOME because we are getting more and more investigadores. Some days we have to leave early to fit in all of our appointments, but that is an awesome thing to have to do! This area really is coming around, and we have made a lot of progress in it.
In speaking of progress, my progress in speaking has gotten better. Now, Espanol doesn't take nearly as much thought as it used to. Listening however still is a problem sometimes, but not a whole lot. I'm sincerely thankful for the amazing help I've had from God in learning this language.
Funny story, some Dominicans thought that they knew American history more than Elder Blake and I. HA. When I asked who our first president was, they responded with Bill Clinton and George Bush. WHAT. COME ON NOW.
Today we went to the zoo here, and it was so ghetto but hilarious and fun. I'll send some pictures from it!
And to close, my ponderize scripture is 1 Nephi 20:10, which says:
"For, behold, I have refined thee, I have chosen thee in the furnace of affliction."
