Boats and Baptisms

This week was awesome!

We started off last week directly after emails. We went on a boat from Fort de France to across the bay. It was awesome. I love boats.

So the photos are from the boat day this week. We had a lot of contacting but also a lot of teaching. I've really tried to put myself out there. I've seen the blessings. My companion Elder Duplessis is almost done with his mission so he can either teach the whole leçon or just give me the leçons. As of recently he's letting me talk a lot more which is scary but great.

Usually when contacting, people always give me weird looks because of my French but then I say I'm from California and can't speak French and they always laugh. It's a good way of humanizing the whole approach. Sometimes I'll "forget" words and they help me along. I basically have them do my job for me.

This Saturday we have Chantelle's baptism. Everything is still okay. She's really excited. KEEP HER IN YOUR PRAYERS. Yesterday she didn't think she was coming to church because of Mother's Day (it's a different day in France) But we prayed and fasted with her that she'd be able to come and she did!!!! She's awesome!!

Other than that I hope everyone has a great week. I love you all.

Love,
Elder Casady
