So it's really cool being here in Houston, and kind of a breath of fresh air getting out of the MTC. As much as I loved the MTC it is nice being able to get out and move around. I'm in an area called Sea brook which is right on the coast of the Galveston Bay. It covers a few different cities in that area. And it's in the League City zone. The weather here is definitely a lot nicer than Provo, but most of the days it has been pretty windy, but that's about it. There was supposed to be a thing called a Freeze where it gets down to about 30 degrees and everything freezes because of how wet everything is, but that hasn't happened yet.
My trainers name is Elder Fails, he is from Cedar City, Utah. He is a pretty cool guy which is nice. We do a lot of door knocking, which I have found to be actually pretty fun. I like talking to a bunch of different random stories. We talked to a few old guys who liked to tell us all kinds of stories which was dope. In our area there is a place called Baycliff. It's funny talking to the people there because it's almost like they are speaking a different language sometimes. The members in our area are pretty cool too. I have gotten to know a few pretty well just over this past week. Some have also said that they remember Brady from when he served down here.
Anyways I don't have any pics yet since I don't have my phone and won't get it back until Thursday. I'll send a bunch of pics next Monday. Love you all
