Week 18- Donald Trump

Hello everyone so this week was pretty uneventful so sorry there isn't much to report. But we had 2 great lessons with our main investigators, Alesandra and Fernanda. They are super awesome and we taught them about the Plan of Salvation, and how to receive an answer this week. They have been reading the Book of Mormon, and keep telling us how excited they are to come to church and finally become familiar with it. The last couple of weeks they have been busy, but this week they seemed so sure that they were gonna come. We walked to their house, knocked on the door, and nobody answered. This week I was even more disappointed that they didn't come because they seemed so excited to come. But what can you do, just gotta keep going and inviting them to come. Last night we found this dude while contacting, Luis, and we had a great little lesson with him. He told us how he had felt that God had abandoned him, but that maybe us knocking on his door, was a direct call from God. It was super awesome to see in the little contact with him, how the spirit was there testifying to him. Can't say yet because only talked to him once, but cool to see how the Lord can prepare people like that to receive the gospel.  One of our investigators that we have had forever, Humberto, began to tell us that when he was 15 years old he decided that he only wanted to live until he was 40 years old. He is now 80 and keeps on asking us why God didn't just let him die at 40 and I literally have no idea what to say to him. He is so bitter that he has had to live 40 more years than he wanted to, and thinks we are like anzianos and have the answers to everything. Haha. He wants to die so badly it's kind of funny. We also knocked on two people's doors this week to find out they are members but have inactivated and then moved into the area. It was super weird because that has never happened to me but happened twice this week. We also have been going around the members houses trying to motivate them in the "Light the World" initiative, so that has been super fun to be with all of them, except they are all chambones and we can't get them to do it, but we are working on it. That's pretty much it, kind of a boring week. Love you all and see u all soon.

*Big birthday shoutout to Noah Hassell on Dec. 9th, doah loaf, luh u cuh.
