One more transfer has wraped up and I'll be staying here in VERDAO with Elder Lowder. Our week was a good one. We had some people who started to progress but we didn't get them to church, unfortunately. One of them is Kilmer. He is 16 and the day after teaching him we were walking close to his school and he chased us down and said, "elders, elders! I said that prayer, but I didn't feel much of anything so I was planning on trying again tonight!" Haha, it was pretty cool. He already knows a lot of the young men at church so it will be easy to get him involved:) Our ward mission leader is really helping out and helping us go on splits with the members. Also this week, we decided to go back to the fundamentals and evaluate our work based on the ´´the first 12 weeks´´ which is for newly arrived missionaries but sometimes it's good to go back to some of the roots:)
We got hair cuts today and cleaned our house. We had bbq yesterday at a members house, which is my favorite, and we had 4 baptisms in the zone which is great. We are really trying to help the zone work hard be animated and be honest in all things. :) One scripture that I liked this week was Ether 8:26! https://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/ether/8?lang=eng
26 Wherefore, I, Moroni, am commanded to write these things that evil may be done away, and that the time may come that Satan may have no power upon the hearts of the children of men, but that they may be persuaded to do good continually, that they may come unto the fountain of all righteousness and be saved.
