Mission Home Cuiabà, Brazil

Bom Dia

Bom dia:)

Glad to see that everyone is enjoying summer in the states; fishing, pool time, and Family together! Blessings of keeping the commandments. Keep it up and keep working hard. Remember that when it gets tough, it's because there has to be opposition in all things. :)

Our week was a very productive one. We had zone conference which is Always a good and we gave a training and invited members from our stake to come and participate in some practices and it all went really well. It's funny because the more time you have on the mission the less elders you know haha. I hit a year and six months and about half the elders in our zone don't even have a year in the books yet. Makes you feel kinda old!
During the conference, presidente Oliveira gave us a look at some of the statistics of our mission in relation to the other missions in brazil. Our mission has the least amount of missionaries out of the 34 missions here but in many áreas we are almost breaking the average! :) presidente Always says that he's happy, but not satisfised haha.

An experience this week is that we found a couple, Diego and Ana Paula, who are turning into some amazing investigators! Diego read the chapter of the book of Mórmon that we left for them 2x! and he recommended the book for some of his friends at work! They accepted a baptismal date but i think it's gonna be about a month and a half before we get them in the water because we have to get them married! But it's been awesome to see how they are progressing and I know that a big part of it is all of your guys´s prayers! Prayers are answered, not Always in the way that we want them to be, but we need to recognize how the Lord blesses us. :)

Have a ``power week`` as we say on the mission, and read the book of Mormon:)
