So we decided to push the kids baptism date back to the week after conference. We want them to watch conference and to get a couple more lessons in so they are more prepared :)
So in kapaa town there is a legendary man who rides around town with a chicken on his handlebars and we managed to sneak a pic :p
This is elder wardells last full week on his mission so we are just finishing strong!
The first week we got here we helped a non member family move in to their new home and they are very awesome. They are a very kind and loving family. He is in the coast guard so he travels quite a bit. They are a howlie family from the mainland. They are having us over for dinner Tuesday and were hoping to start teaching them the lessons here soon!
I went on exchanges with elder Nebeker. He is just finishing up being trained. I've never met a more humble guy. He is awesome and a really good guy to be around.
Recently we have been asked by our mission president to "flood the Hawaiian islands with the book of mormon" so we have been teaching a lot about it.
In preach my gospel it says something along the lines of if you willingly share your testimony it grows stronger. And I can testify that it's a true statement. I've never appreciated and loved the book of mormon as much as I do right now.
I challenge you all to start reading the book of mormon daily if you arent already. Blessings will start coming your way If you do :)
Hope everyone has a good time watching general conference this weekend! WOOOOOOOO
