ALOHA

The day finally came! Cory got baptized. My companion had to baptize him 4x 🤣

Like I mentioned in my previous emails cory is a bigger guy so I got to give Elder Dixion some respect ;) Cory's elbow kept popping out so on the 4th attempt we just had him get on his knees and tip him back a little bit lol!

On Sunday I was able to give him the holy ghost. Right after church our bishop gave him the priesthood! It was a great day for cory and his family!

Except for his grandma.. his family arent members of the chuch but they came to the baptism, chuch and the priesthood ordinance! They all seemed super happy for him!

Cory cold Turkey vaping and drinking and possibly other stuff as well. It was a miricle seeing him progress so fast!

We had a huge potluck after Cory's baptism. I ate so much food and then they brought out dessert and I about died! I was so full I about fell over getting up ha!

Update of Kekoa and layloni-

Kekoa has to wait a little while until he gets off probation to be baptized... he is a good kid. He just doesnt have the best friend group!

Layloni is scheduled for baptism at the end of this month so were super stoked for that!

We are teaching a little girl named Freeda. She is milo and arials friend. She has been coming to chuch for a while now. We asked for permission to baptize her and her mom said "2 more weeks" so we are also praying for her as well.

Our ward just got back from Trek in Oahu and I know that my stake back home also got home from trek so yall will have to tell me how that went! :)

Last week we went on a little hike and had a picnic up at Palehu chapel for our last P day of the transfer. We had a testimony meeting and sang some songs in the chapel. It was pretty cool :)

Thats about it for my week! Mahalo evryone ❤

MOSIAH 2:41

And moreover, I would desire that ye should consider on the blessed and happy state of those that keep the commandments of God. For behold, they are blessed in all things, both temporal and spiritual; and if they hold out faithful to the end they are received into heaven, that thereby they may dwell with God in a state of never-ending happiness. O remember, remember that these things are true; for the Lord God hath spoken it.
