Elder Jonah Dixon

"Holy children in the underworld"

Hey everyone! I hope everyone is enjoying their memorial day!

Earlier this week we were trying to find this less active with the name of Gary.

We found his house and knocked on the door.- we think it was his granddaughter that answered the door. So we asked if he was home and the "Granddaughter" said... "we actually just got back from his funeral a couple minutes ago..." it was one of the most awkward moments of my mission so far but it makes for a sad/funny story. What are the odds of that? 😂

A tourist who came to our ward on Sunday is from North Ogden. She said she knew Jennifer Westenskow. My companion is from Idaho and he knows the westenskows because brad and his dad worked together. So small world. It was also a tender mercy because what are the odds of that too?

Kekoa and Leyloni are still set for this Saturday so were praying they follow through with their date! :)

Cory is super stoked for his baptism. He is inviting his whole family and is gonna have a pot luck after. Go big or go home right?

We were shopping and a kid came up to my companion and said "are you holy children sent to the underworld?" So that is the story behind my title of my email.

I'm sorry I never add any spirital thoughts to the bottom of my email. I usually rush through here and continue on with my p day.

There is a scripture that I really like in Alma 41:10. "Wickedness never was happiness" this scripture can relate to everyone. Satan loves to sugarcoat sins to make it look "fun" or "appealing" but like this scripture.. Wickness never was happiness
