I've had nacho libre stuck in my head all week and just have been quoting it everywhere I go.
I will be staying on Big Island in the Honomu brach. My companion is leaving to Honolulu. He will actually be in the last ward I was in. So we are pretty much switching places:)
My new companion is Elder Lecorte from the Philippines. Hes 24 years old and I've only good things about him so I'm excited/nervous because I'm not sure how bad the language barrier will be. :)
Yesterday after chuch we were doing personal study when we hear a knock on the door. We turned around and it was 2 Jahova Witnesses. We chit chatted a little bit and the whole time they had no idea we were missionaries. We told them we were missionaries for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter- day saints.
We told them we could do bible study sometime but it ended super good😂
Less than 5 minutes later another Jahova Witness shows up and gives us the same spill as the last two.
We told her we were missionaries from yadie yadie yada and she was from utah so she knew all about us. She was a very sweet lady and told her we respect what she does because we do the same thing. :)
This last week I hit my 6 months!! WUUTWUUT
The 6 months I felt like it would never end but looking back it feels like it was just a dream.
I've met some amazing people so far and have learned so many things I wouldnt have learned anywhere else. :)
The church is true and this gospel has brought me so much happiness these past couple of months.
The mission honestly sucks most days but it is making me into the person the Lord wants me to be :)
