Salute mes amis !!
This week was full of some goood times !! General Conference be fresh on my mind and it hit different. Literally made me feel so magical to watch General Conference and i've been needing that #spiritualnourishment. We got 6 of our friends we teaching to watch too !! I only got 2 more Conferences left on the mission so i'm halfway hahaha.
We found 3 new people this last week which was awesome !! One of those is a young mom named Racquel. She is the greatest and has a wild story. Long story short she is possibly facing 3 years in prison cuz her ex husband accused her of something she is innocent of. She was very emotional because she has 3 girls and can't leave them. She explained how it was a miracle we reached out to her on Facebook and the scripture we shared with her was just what she needed. Facebook really does work !! So we just praying for a miracle that she will be able to get out that crazy situation !!
#WEEDALERT. So we teaching our guy Richard on the res who is an alcoholic and we found out this week he is also addicted to that lovely substance of what you called WEED. #classicHe called us midday asking if we were gonna come over, we were already out and about but we were like "ya i guess we can stop by". We pull up to his shack and he opens the door just high as a kite. He brings out a lighter, beer can and a bag of weed and tells us "take a hit guys" haha I said see ya Rich and we headed on out... later that day he posts on Facebook about us and ill put in the photos what he said hahaha. #justsaynotodrugs
Snows melting so im boutta go fish for some monsters in the ole Wind River.
Read the Book of Mormon and see how it blesses your life. This is a simple yet so important principle we are doing with a few of those we are teaching. I invite you all to do the same and continue to do it over and over again.
Good Week, Good Mems. Never gets old. God is real.
Much Love,
Elder Korth
