Faith and Patience

Well another long hard week in Harris Lake. On Monday we did what basically most missionaries do on monday and thats play basketball haha! It is pretty fun to hang out with other Elders and shoot some hoops!

Tuesday was AWESOME! One of my best tennis friends Chase Stoner's dad Rob was in town. Rob Stoner being the nice guy he is took my companion and I to dinner! I was so happy to see him and catch up with him and to hear how everyone is doing. I just wanna say thank you to Rob and how much I enjoyed going to dinner with him! I had such and awesome time and my companion did also! So thank you!

Wednesday I went on an exchange with my Zone Leader Elder Kapu! He is my boy!! We had so much fun. His area is called Gardner and he is spanish speaking. We ( He did because I can't speak Spanish) named Juan Carlos and Elder Kapu taught him the restoration and invited him to be baptized and he said yes. So that was super awesome to see! Spanish Areas get to talk to a lot of people but I am so glad I don't have to speak spanish hah!

Honestly the rest of the week was just a lot of tracting and not talking to a lot of people. I title this email "Faith and Patience" because I have been in Harris Lake ward for 10 weeks now and we haven't even gotten an investigator to church. We have one family named the Jackson's and they always tell us they are gonna be there and then they end up not showing. The same thing happens with Less Actives. It is tough but I know that my companion and I are supposed to be here and we have to have faith in that. Our patience is definitely being tested for sure. Hope everyone has a good week! I am soo excited for conference this week! I love this gospel and love being a missionary!
