Well my First Transfer is complete. There were a lot of hard days but it went by pretty fast. I will be in the same area for another 6 weeks minimum and my companion just got called to be the district leader so who knows I could be here for 3 to 4 more transfers.
Monday night we just went store contacting and nothing happened but I still love mondays. Tuesday was the LONGEST day of my life. We had First Transfer Training meeting and we got up at 5 am and didn't get back till 7:30 pm. The first transfer training meeting was super spiritual and my mission president is the best mission president in the world. Whenever he talks I always feel the spirit. He had Elder Garrick and I go up in front of everyone and do a door contacting role play and we killed it. He was so impressed. We door contact a lot and when we get to talk to people we do a really good job:) Meetings are super tough with my diabetes because my blood sugar gets low and all this annoying stuff. Super good meeting tho just glad I don't have to go to it again haha.
Wednesday we just had district meeting and then after we tried service tracting and offer people service but no one needed help but at least people were talking to us. Wednesday night we met with our investigator the Jackson Family. Chris and Jessica. We taught them about the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the spirit was so strong.
Thursday, Friday nothing special happened but we worked hard.
Saturday we tried Service contacting again and got 2 new investigators! Which was super awesome. We are meeting with them later this week! Saturday night I felt like I needed to go get my racket and go to the tennis courts at the border of our area and we did and we met this guy named johnny. He is 19 and he was just serving alone he wasn't very good but I asked if he needed someone to play with he said no.. but I shared the Restoration with him and he said he was interested but he lives out of our area so we don't get to meet with him. We gave him a BoM and he said he would read it. He is meeting with other missionaries I think today so that was really cool experience!
We had a really good week. Our numbers were the best they have ever been. We didn't get a ton of new investigators but handed out a lot of book of mormons which is really good for this area!
Well even though Romo got hurt..(I had like 5 members tell me right as I walked into church) I still think the cowboys will win the division! Also congrats to my friend christian on getting his mission call to Tennessee! Hope everyone has a good week and BYU will beat Arizona this week! Lets go cougs!!
