Well another week has come and gone! Kinda crazy how fast time goes.
Monday, December 4:
P-Day... Oh P-Day. Same old Same old... BUT we had a lesson with Zach and Faith! We also did a ton of service for them!
Tuesday, December 5:
District meeting to the max!!! Plus spent a ton of time at the Chevy dealership just for a tire rotation and oil change. It was worth it thought because now our car runs great! We tried to visit some less actives with no luck.
Wednesday, December 6:
Started to day off with a lesson with Rod. It went extremely well. We asked him if he would be baptized and said he was concerned about his body being able to handle it because he has had a lot of medical problems in his past. We asked him to pray about it and we will let you all know how it goes. We also went to Salvation Army and did a solid amount of service there. We had lunch at a Chinese Buffet with a member. Tried some potential investigators with some luck but no one standing out in particular. We drove to Marianna at like 5 pm because we ha d an exchange to go on. Elder Casper and I went to the home of two older members and sang some Christmas carols with the youth. I was amazed to see so many youth because in our Branch we have 10 active compared to their 40 active. It was awesome to be able to feel like a youth again.
Thursday, December 7:
Today in Marianna was pretty fun. Elder Taylor and I joined the missionaries in Marianna for there weekly coordination meeting with their ward mission leader. Later Elder Casper and I visited some of their investigators and potential investigators. We also spent some time doing family history. After all was said and done we went home to Bainbridge.
Friday, December 8:
Oh man this day was long. Basically all we did was weekly planning, studies and decorate the apartment. Kinda boring but kinda fun.
Saturday, December 9:
Basically spent all day today doing yard work. Apparently once a year the Elders quorum has a Saturday of Labor where all they do is yard work and moving people and other stuff so that filled our day.
Sunday, December 10:
Kinda sad when you get used to seeing 70+ people at church and then suddenly you barely get 50. I guess we just had some people go out of town. We also had lessons with the Hamptons and Amaris so they are continuing to do well. Terra has been half avoiding us so her baptismal date is postponed.
Scripture and a Quote:
2 Nephi 33:10
"10 And now, my beloved brethren, and also Jew, and all ye ends of the earth, hearken unto these words and believe in Christ; and if ye believe not in these words believe in Christ. And if ye shall believe in Christ ye will believe in these words, for they are the words of Christ, and he hath given them unto me; and they teach all men that they should do good."
"I believe in Christ like I believe in the sun. Not because I can see it, but by it I can see everything else.”
