You ever just have one of those weeks where you blink 3 times and you miss everything? I had one of those weeks. Hope everyone enjoyed General Conference!
Monday, September 25:
P-Day!!! Today started off with a quick lesson with Brandon. He was pretty tired so I'm not sure how much of it he got. After cleaning the apartment and going shopping, Elder Belliston and I headed to Marianna. We had a pretty rockin' day! We played some wiffle-ball and went to the Florida State Caverns where we had a tour of the caves.
Tuesday, September 26:
Today we had District meeting and Elder Mckinnon and I came back to Bainbridge. We went to meet with Frank and Lorrella but Frank wasn't home. We instead met with Lorrella and her cousin Tommy. We also met with a lady named Stella. She was very interested in the Restoration. Elder Feeny and I had met her two weeks earlier. She was very eager to read the Book of Mormon. Later that night we visited Lisa and Coby. We had a lesson on Church History that was supper cool!
Wednesday, September 27:
Elder Mckinnon and I started off the day at Salvation Army. We went and tried to visit a few people afterwards with little success. Then we drove to Chattahoochee and met up with Elder Belliston and Elder Feeny. The rest of the day Elder Belliston and I spent trying to meet with people with little luck so we decided to do a little bit of family history before dinner. While at the church we were invited to go with the young men in the ward to tour the Decatur County Court House. It was super sweet!
Thursday, September 28:
You have to love a day that starts off with helping the local genealogical society get some work done. It amazes me that cutting newspaper can be fun. Today we had some good visits with Sister Kincaid, Alvin, and a handful of less active members. It was a great day.
Friday, September 29:
Today we made a big loop around our area hitting Donalsonville, Brinson, Iron City, Colquitt, Attapulgus, and Climax!!! Visited lots of less actives.
Saturday, September 30:
General Conference Part I. Alvin came and loved it!
Sunday, October 1:
General Conference Part II. Alvin came again and loved it again!
Scripture and a quote
2 Nephi 3:24
"24 And there shall rise up one mighty among them, who shall do much good, both in word and in deed, being an instrument in the hands of God, with exceeding faith, to work mighty wonders, and do that thing which is great in the sight of God, unto the bringing to pass much restoration unto the house of Israel, and unto the seed of thy brethren."
“Far better it is to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even though checkered by failure, than to take rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy much nor suffer much, because they live in the gray twilight that knows neither victory nor defeat.”
