Well this has been a tough week. I successfully completed one week in quarantine and it was a longgg one. Very hard not being able to do anything, but we made it through. Some of the things that we did to pass the time were: playing chess, watching Harry Potter 1 (three times), doing exercise, taking naps, calling investigators and members, reading scriptures for a long time, practicing my soccer juggling skills, and eating chaufita haha. So, we just did whatever we could find to stay sane.
Last night we received the news that all foreigners will be sent home when the Peruvian frontiers open. So, I will be headed home here in a few weeks. Pretty sad. I couldn't sleep at all last night. Not the way I wanted to go out, but I really have given absolutely everything I have to these people and I have no regrets. So, I am super grateful for the opportunity I have had to serve here in Peru and get to know these people. It has seriously changed my life. I know that this gospel is true, and I am ready for whatever the next phase of life has in store.
