If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
John 8:31-32

Dear family,

So, first off, I want to apologize for these emails being pretty boring lately. I just don't have a whole lot to say. Things are good, there's just not a lot to report on.

This week we were really worried about Tina. We showed up for our appointment on Tuesday, but she wasn't there. We tried getting in contact with her, but she wasn't responding. We stopped by another time and she wasn't home again.

Luckily, we were able to get in contact with her towards the end of the week. She is doing fine, she's just been stressed cause her grandfather passed away and she's been trying to get the funeral ready. So she's been really busy this week. We weren't
able to teach any additional lessons.

However, she did come to church! So that was awesome. This time she brought her son, so we were able to meet him (he's 11 I think). He seems like a cool kid. Church went really well and I think Tina enjoyed it. We are excited to continue teaching

This week we also went on exchanges. I was with our district leader, Elder Jolley. He's an interesting character. We didn't do anything super out of the ordinary, we mostly just went finding. We did go out to eat as a district though, so that was fun.
While there a less-active member saw us and paid for us! It was super sweet, he's the real MVP! Great guy, we weren't even mad. :)

Well, that's about it! Have a good week everybody!

P.S. We went to Downtown Detroit and the Detroit zoo on p-day. So here are some photos:
