And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
2 Corinthians 12:9

Dear family,

This week was alright. It wasn't quite as exciting as last week, but that's OK. We weren't able to meet with Joy this week, she kept having things come up and get in the way. Hopefully we will get to see her this week.

We were going to meet with Ryan, but he ended up canceling, too. He was sick. We haven't been able to get in contact with him since, so we are hoping he is OK.

Francis is doing pretty well. He gave us all his cigarettes to throw away for him, it was awesome. He has gone a little over a week without smoking. We are excited to continue to help him progress towards the temple and the Priesthood.

We have also been working with a less active/part member family, the Brumleys. Brother and Sister Brumley are both members that have been less active for a while. They have three kids who are not members: Xander (10), Riley (8), and Giles (8). Riley and
Giles are twins. They are fun to teach. Sometimes it's hard to get their attention...but they're sweet kids.

The Brumleys found out that they missed my birthday so they had us over on Saturday for this huge birthday dinner. It was awesome! They made these super good pulled pork sandwiches and homemade mac&cheese. It was the best mac&cheese I've ever had. They
made brownies and ice cream for dessert, cause that's what I wanted. I wasn't even mad! :) It was really sweet of them.

The Brumleys also came to church this week! So that was awesome. Our main focus with them right now is to help Xander receive an answer to his prayers. He has been praying to know if getting baptized is the right thing for him to do. Hopefully he will
receive one soon!

That's about all I have for this week...sorry if my emails are getting kind of lame. Things are going well, I just don't always have stuff to say. So yeah.

Well, I hope you all have a good week! I love and miss each one of you!

1. This KFC was on point for Easter! They left it up for like a week, it was awesome!
2. Reunited with my boi Elder Williams at zone conference last week.
3 and 4. Lake Erie! Honestly it looks pretty similar to Lake Huron. I feel like Lake Huron had nicer views, but Lake Erie's still pretty cool.
