Hello Brothers and Sisters! I am sorry my emails have been so spotty, but I am still alive and living the dream! So thankful to be a missionary!
BIG NEWS! So last week I got transferred back to Ponca City which is an area that I have previously served in and loved. It has been so fun to reconnect with some of the people I taught a year ago and also the members. It has been a miracle filled week. The Lord blessed us with 17 new friends this week. It was incredible. I have never seen anything like it. He also blessed us with our awesome friend Saloma who was Baptized on Saturday. She is so awesome and is so converted to the Savior and His Gospel. Also President Christensen made the trip up to Ponca so he could welcome her.
We are back on that grind to start a Marahallese branch here. A little more than a year ago we started with 7 Marshallese people. The Lord ended up bringing 43 people to church right before the pandemic took over the world. After the pandemic, everyone that was here moved away and now we are starting from ground 0 again. It is kind of sad to see honestly, we were so close and now so far away again. But the words of King Benjamin motivate me "Remember, and perish not." I have seen the Lord do it once and I know He can do it again. He has helped me remember that what He had done once, He can do again! He has already started. We found so many Marshallese people this last week. I know He can do His own work and I am just thankful that He has allowed me to be a small part of it. I am very thankful for the opportunity to finish what I started a year ago! I only have 2 transfers left on my mission and I am so excited to finish strong here in Ponca City! The Lord lives Brothers and Sisters. His Atonement is real. I love Him. He stands at the head of His church, the Church or Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. In His name, Jesus Christ, Amen.
