Iakwe friends and family!!
This has been a crazy week! I got a call last Friday that I would be leaving on Tuesday the 26th! So here I am in Enid, OK and I have been here for almost a week already. It is crazy, we are quarantined out here. We use Facebook and messenger and just call people all day and make posts and things. It is a totally different kind of missionary work than I am used to. I am still adjusting to the Facebook stuff, but we're getting better at it. Also I'm with my old companion Elder Huang and he's a stud. We have a lot of fun together. We set a transfer goal to catch a turtle in a near by pond and we already got it so we were way hyped about that haha. We also got to talk to a ton of our Marshallese homies out here, it is so fun to hear their voices again, I've missed them. They come by and give us pizza and stuff sometimes. Amon (a recent convert that got baptized in February) told us that he gave a priesthood blessing to a very sick man and he was instantly healed. It Was one of the happiest moments on my mission, he is truly CONVERTED to the Lord. The church is just true. The work is a lot slower in terms of teaching lessons now than it was before I left so it has been an adjustment for me. It is tough to find people to teach over technology but we know the Lord will help us. We are looking forward to the day when we get the green light to go back out on the bikes and start the good Ole fashioned missionary work haha. We actually went on a little bike ride around town and just looked at the houses we used to teach people in, it was so tempting to start knocking on their doors haha. We have both missed this place, it is good to be back and look forward to doing everything I can while in quarantine! The church is true! God Speed!
