friends and family what is up??
this week has been super good! We have been super busy over here. Elder Springer is the Zone Leader so we went on two exchanges this week. The first time I went to OSU campus and that was super cool but it flippin poured on us the whole day. It is a pretty campus and the people were way down to talk to us for a little bit. The next exchange was in Enid (which is my area) and Elder Springer left Elder Miner and I. We took over the area and went to talk to a bunch of Marshallese people. I was stressing so hard about but then I realized that I wouldn't be able to do it on my own so as I was riding my bike I said a simple prayer. I asked Heavenly Father to help me understand the people and to give me some peace. The first 3 doors we knocked on nobody answered. We kept knocking and we ended up finding 6 new Marshallese people to teach. I was so hyped about it, it was a big deal to us. We set up 6 appointments and we teach 2 of them tonight I am so hyped haha. These people are the nicest. We have eaten so much chicken and rice haha. We eat with our hands so its super fun. They give like a mountain of rice, I am going to get so fat haha. There is a little Marshallese Branch here and by the time I leave, I want to help make it a ward. I have it written everywhere hah so that's the goal. We have been teaching these little kids and they are so cute, I will send some pics of them. It is like a million degrees here and super humid so we sweat so much and Elder Miner sweats through his pants like everday haha. we call it swum its hilarious. We have become so tight as a companionship, Elder Springer is such a stud, I am lucky to have him. Elder Bednar visited this mission a few weeks before I got here and he said that "This is an elite mission. The future leaders of the Church will come out of this mission." I feel super blessed to be with these awesome people. I am learning as much as I can about being a missionary. I have a lot to learn but I am working hard haha. I love all so much thank you for the prayers and the love, it means a lot. God speed!
