It is kinda crazy that this is my last email from the MTC. It is a crazy feeling, I feel like I did when my parents dropped me off here haha. It's a lot of excitement but a little bit of fear. It's so comforting to know that God's got me though. So cool story, Elder Miner and I were teaching an TRC (that's where you skype someone who speaks your language and teach them a lesson) yesterday and there wasn't enough volunteers for Marshallese because no one speaks marshallese haha. But our teacher facetimed some one from his mission in Oklahoma. He asked if we could teach the them and then someone said "Whoa is that Elder Barben and Elder Miner?" IT WAS THE ELDERS THAT WILL TRAIN US. We were so hyped to talk to them for a second haha it was so cool. They just happened to be at these peoples house when we called. Then we got to teach them and it was awesome to meet them because we will see them very soon haha. Elder Miner and I have been working super hard to get the language down so that we don't look too dumb out there. These people talk sooooo fast. If I don't know what they said I just say "Emman." haha that's the goat word in Marshallese. They say that soooo much, so it helps me out. It is crazy how much my testimony and knowledge of the gospel has grown in just 5 and a half weeks. I am grateful for the MTC, it has been a great experience. I have met so many awesome people here. I don't know if any of you remember but I was called July 31st and they asked me to come early. I was super sad about it, but I see the blessings now. I leave the MTC on Tuesday at 4:15 am and I wouldn't even get here until Wednesday at 12:30 if I would have came when I was originally called. The Lord really does know best. I am so grateful I was able to come early even though I missed like 697340 vacations with my family and my friends are going to Cali without me hahah. I have developed a deeper testimony and love for my savior and the Book of Mormon here. I have definitely changed a lot and I am so excited to see the change in the people that we teach. This is the best decision I have ever made. Thank you all for the love and support. I love every one of you. God Speed!
