Provo MTC

Elder Miner

Aye friends and family!! It's crazy I have been out here for 2 weeks. It's a grind haha. I say that a lot, but it's because it is. It's a good thing though, we need it. Elder Miner and I have been working hard. One of us always ends up falling asleep at some point in the day, so we always take selfies with each other when we do it's so funny haha. It's crazy, we try to keep our eyes open, but we just can't sometimes. I guess that's a sign of hard work haha. The language is coming along good still, we learn a new grammar principle like everyday. It gets kinda complicated sometimes, Marshallese people talk weird haha, but it will be sick when I am fluent haha. We teach a TRC tomorrow which is when a random person comes into the MTC and we teach them. I can't believe they found someone that speaks Marshallese haha. Miner and I are kinda nervous about it, so hopefully it works out good. We have taught a lesson every single day this week on top of the TRC tomorrow, and we are teaching priesthood on Sunday. We have been preparing lessons like crazy ahah. Time is weird here. We always say "the days feel like weeks and the weeks feel like days." I don't know how to explain it but basically the days are really long because we're grinding the whole time, but the weeks are just a big blur haha. It's hard to remember what happened. So I'm sorry for the short emails, hopefully I get better at this as time goes on. The older guys in our zone leave on sunday and monday and I am kinda bummed about it. They have been so cool to us, we all have so much fun together. So there will be like 20 brand new people in our zone on Wednesday. It will be fun to meet all of them. There has been so many new people coming into the MTC so I have seen so many people that I know here. It's fun to see all of them. I saw my man Elder Milne last night hah it was cool to see him. I kept calling him Blake, it's hard to remember to call people "Elder". Yesterday was the fourth and we were hyped hah. We had American stuff on, I had American flag socks, an American flag and I wore my red, white and blue tie. God bless the USA baby. We got to watch the fireworks from the stadium of fire and it was awesome. Our branch president even let us stay out til 10, I couldn't believe it. We sang the national anthem and America the beautiful in a devotional and it was so cool, America=goat haha. I hope you all had a good fourth and a good week! I love the work and I love being a missionary. Thanks for all the love and support. I love you all so much! God Speed!
