Counting Our Blessings is Far Better than Recounting Our Problems

As New Mexico struggles with the virus we continue to remain in the home pretty much all day. We get outside for fresh air quite often and the weather is very nice currently which is a nice change.

Its was a really cool experience calling this one woman by the name of Lupe, she had been taught by the missionaries a few months back and was very kind but wasn't too interested in hearing the Gospel. However we shot her a call and her heart was totally changed, she talked pretty openly about how much the Elders before us helped her become happy following the death of her child. We are really excited to start speak with her and explain to her life after death and how she will see her child again and live with him forever.

This week is Thanksgiving and a time to be greatful for the things we have. Going with the theme of gratitude out Church leader President Nelson gave a timely message of the healing power of gratitude. He invited all of us to give a prayer of thanks for all which we have, as well make social media a place of gratitude. He promises we will be more joyful as we do this the next seven days and I invite you to do the same! I am so greatful for all of you and pray you can find healing through gratitude this week during Thanksgiving as well in the weeks to come!
