Elder Hansen

Week 3

Hey everyone! I am now a little over half way done with my CTM stay. It is going by really fast. I have been SO TIRED recently so I haven't been totally focused as of late hahaha. I really need to focus more but I am doing really well still. Each day I am improving which is a good sign. This was our 2nd true P-Day because last week we weren't able to go outside so today has been fun. Today we got the best Acai ever and that is all I want to eat now. I've had some pastels too and that was amazing also. All the food outside of the CTM has been incredible so far. I would be lying if I said I haven't thought about Canes and In-n-Out though hahaha.

Today I will include a little quote I heard that applies to everyone. I don't remember it exactly hahaha but it goes something like " The Lord can make the willing able but not the able willing." All this means is if you have a desire to do something the Lord will help you do it. I know this is true because I have seen it in my life. I have been completely invested (while I am awake) in learning the language and it shows. I know that if you guys truly want to do something the Lord will help. All you need is effort on your end.

I hope everyone has a great week! Tchau Tchau

Dear Elder Willett, Congrats on being made district leader! It is a beautiful thing that you are learning and loving the Portuguese language! The quote you shared is so true! The lord transforms us! Even now, I marvel at how much my life has changed since I joined the church! It’s pretty incredible! Have a great week and we will eat at in n out this week on your behalf ; ). Savor that yummy Brazilian food!
