Hello Family and Friends, Words of Mormon Chapter 1 verse 88 And my aprayer to God is concerning my brethren, that they may once again come to the knowledge of God, yea, the redemption of Christ; that they may once again be a bdelightsome people. Ya so it was a CRAZY loaded week and Elder Mundell and I definitely have a ton of work to do. But as a quick summary:An Elder in my Zone fainted and went to the Hospital and he has some serious issue with his brain(possible tumor). So he went to Quito and his companion Elder Zelada from Guatemala (1 month in the mission) was put with us for a few days. Presidente took Elder Zelada out of Trio with us (he was sent to another area) and so now my companion and I are working two sectors. Its gonna be a rough busy month. We are teaching a new guy named Luis. He is about to get married to a member so he and her want him to learn about the church. IT BLEW MY MIND he is from a far out little village and he told us he's never heard of the bible, he doesn't know what God is and he had NEVER HEARD Jesus Christ in his life. He also doesn't remember much so we have focused on the restoration and who is Jesus Christ for 3 lessons now (last time we had a movie night about the life of Jesus). We taught 2 people this week that don't understand any spanish (they speak Kichua, the native indian language) and we had translators to tell them what we were teaching. It was so much fun. I can't teach in Kichua but I can pick up a few things so after they teach we will say "did you mention this?" or "hey don't forget to tell him about..”We told 3 families that they need to get married this week and all of them have something that is keeping them. Legal papers, desires, money, literally anything. But we are working on it.We helped a family build their house and we put concrete inside their house so they don't have to live with dirt floors. It was a ton of fun and we really gained their confidence.-Elder Hallsted(PS, the last two letters sent out were labeled 76. You didn’t miss 77, and this is 78).
