Elder WAWAÑABI CONTINUES IN CARABUELA WITH THE INDIGENOUS PEOPLE FOR 6 MORE WEEKS!!!!
Man I am super excited to stay her with my companion. I'm gonna hit 6 months here but I love it and they don't normally let people stay so long together, but we have been doing good work together so President said he didn't want to ruin a good thing.
In a stake meeting the Bishop said good things about us and my Mission President asked who are the missionaries and my Bishop said "...uh..Wawañabi y Murcia" HE FORGOT MY NAME. I know he knows it but he normaly just calls me Baby face in Kichua. I love my Bishop here so much. Hes a little crazy, but hes the best.
This week we did a grill picnic with Richard Cachiguango ( he will be baptized in 2 weeks) with a bunch of members. He is super excited to get baptized and is asking us about his clothing and a ton of stuff cause he just can't wait.
The Torín family (mom, dad, and 3 kids but only one is older than 8) now has a date for baptism on Oct 19. They are from Venezuela and their life is really hard but they are just so amazing. They come to our Ward even though they don't understand Kichua. Its real dedication and man do they have testimonies to come when they don't understand much.
My phone conversations with the Sister Missionaries in my District:
ME: "Sisters is there anything we can do to help you or something that you need”
SISTERS:"YA! We need TO SLEEP! Talk to ya later”
