WEEK 96 - Hello friends and family and anyone else reading this letter!!!
Hello friends and family and anyone else reading this letter!!!
It was an average week. This week we taught our haitian friend Ronald (i dont remember if i put his name in the last email but if i did i called him Robert, but he asked us in the last appointment, "what is my name?" we responded Robert but aparently we were slightly off, it was Ronald, haha like ron weasly, but haitian haha). He is going to progress fairly slowly because he is very evangelical and doesnt understand fully everything that we teach (its totally not because its two gringos trying to speak creole) but he is really awesome
The Crazy Transfers! were efectuated this week (is that a word in english? spanish uses efectuar so that is the first word that comes to mind, also i used the word shall the other day and my comp laughed at me ahah.) but they were really easy and quick in the morning only and were done with everything in 2 hours which was wierd for me (its because the zones are so much smaller now)
Friday we had comp exchanges with the asistentes! It was fun, Elder Eddy went with Elder Hamm and they had a great time and did all sorts of great stuff. Elder Smith was with me (another double Elder Smith time) and we were in Reñaca which is their sector, we got to meet all sorts of members and try to ask for references from them.
Saturday we had a ward mission activity and we learned about family history which was awesome.
Also we found a new person to teach named Maria Bustos. We contacted her orginally because she wants to learn english, we started helping her out in english and then when she brought up a point and we were able to connect it to the gospel and we got her interested in that.
