Transfer Time
This week was pretty boring. We still have almost now investigators, which means that most of the week was spent walking around trying to contact. Included in this email are some pictures of random things around Solo, including some statues and some street art.
The only sort of exciting thing from this week is transfer calls. Elder Doud is moving to Medan, and I'm staying in Solo for another transfer. My new companion is Elder Van Duren, who is currently serving in Manado. He gets here tomorrow, which is also when Elder Doud moves. The last few days have really just been Elder Doud prepping to move, so we really don't have any interesting stories from this week.
The only other thing interesting thing we did was ride our bikes out to a member's house in Karanganyar, which is the area just outside of the city of Solo. It was really cool, although we almost got lost trying to get to his house. It was a pretty long ride, and it was already dark, so it was easy for us to get lost. In spite of that, we managed to find their house and got there right on time. The member seemed relieved to see us pulling up to his house, since he was worried we'd get lost.
