Elder Graves

I’m at the MTC, arrived just fine. The shuttle didn’t get there until 9:45, so I wound up sitting outside the terminal for an hour and a half, but that was alright. The shuttle driver was like a walking (or driving) encyclopedia of the Salt Lake area, so that was pretty cool. I got to the MTC at about 11:00, and from there we went and got lunch. After that, we went into a room where we got paired up with Elders who took us to get our orientation stuff. After that we went to the room I’ll be staying in. I had to carry my 40 pound bag all the way up to the 4th floor, so that was cool. Now we’re (Me, two Elders and Two Sisters) are in our language class, where we’ve already started learning Bahasa Indonesia. Our teacher has spoken less than a dozen words in English, but we’re getting there. The two elders and I are in a trio, and the Sisters are a companionship.

I’ll be emailing again on P-Day. For now, just know that I made it to the MTC alright, and, although I’m pretty tired, I’m still alive.
