we are the champions

So honestly I don't have much to say other than the fact that it's been another week filled with contacting and not a lot of success. We still have yet to meet with someone after the initial contact so that's been a little frustrating but it's been good to talk with and meet a bunch of cool people. Also I'm not sure why but I think that this last week I talked to more people that wanted to bible bash with me. and I hate bible bashing. Especially in Russian. akjgfhk          <---- (this isn't a russian word it's just to express my hatred of bible bashing)
Skipping to the interesting things:-We helped a member's mom this week work her ipad and we got fed this fat chocolate cake. blessings.-One of the street stores played Drake's new song so that was pretty cool. Still doesn't beat my Motab tho-Probably the craziest thing this week: one of my old time investigators invited us over to his house to eat this last saturday. He fed us this huge bowl of borsch and it took me forever to finish and I was so full when he took my plate and filled it up to the top again. So after barely finishing this next bowl, I said "pls don't give me more" and he proceeded to filling my plate with potatoes and chicken. I almost died. (it was super good though.) So then he told us that he was having trouble working his dvd player and so we hooked it up to his tv and fixed it for him and he was so happy that he turned on this dvd that was playing a live performance of Queen in webley stadium in 1986. And then he cranked up the volume to max(he lives in an apartment, I feel so bad for the neighbors) and was just jamming out to Queen. So that was pretty funny. He also almost forced us into drinking wine, vodka, and black tea but we used our missionary powers to say no. Needless to say he wasn't at church the next day. It was quite the experience and I think next time we'll have to decline a dinner appointment with him again-we did more contacting this week-We had so many people at church this sunday that it was honestly the best feeling in the world to have a loud sacrament meeting. The loudest and yet most peaceful sacrament meeting I've been in.
I guess I would like to end this by sharing a quick verse that I love:

"And behold, I tell you these things that ye may learn wisdom; that ye may learn that when ye are in the service of your fellow beings ye are only in the service of your God. "So I realize that this verse get quoted a lot but one of the things that we don't really think of when it comes to service is just a little text message or maybe a call to someone that we haven't talked to in a while. You don't have to plan something or put on some work gloves to do service for someone. I think some of the greatest moments and greatest acts of service done for me were when someone was just talking to me about life and genuinely wanted to know how I was doing. When someone had went out of their way to say hi to me or when they help me with something I was doing. Whatever it is, there is NOTHING too big or too small to change someones day, week, or even how they view themselves. Look for those little things everyday that you can do to lift someone's burdens and be the change in their lives. Anyways I love you guys. Keep moving forward and keep Christ in your mind.
