That's all I have to say about this past week. It was crazy! Let's break it down:
Tuesday
Insane. That all I have to say about Tuesday. Haha Elder blosch and I traveled the entire (Rochester) Mission with President Vest. We woke up then hustled down to Palmyra. The meeting went over so we were automatically late to the next one, so we cursed to Rochester to set up the projector, mix ect. Then from there we drove allllll the way over to Buffalo. President Vest is awesome and it was good for all the missionaries to get to meet him. He also brought his family along so we got to meet them as well. He has 5 kids ranging from 5 - 17 years old. We spent the last part of prime time in our area.
Wensday
Was a normal day, we did service for a community church in the city of Rochester.
Thursday
Was weekly planning and we totally didnt know about district council so we were late to that. The rest of the day we worked, we got in contact with all our people that we didn't have contact with.
Friday
Insane. That's all I have to say about Friday. We drove to Syricuse (1 1/2 hour drive) with the Buffalo Zone Leaders. We had mission Leadership Council with all leaders in the Mission, both Rochester and Syricuse sides. Meeting the other missionaries from the used to be Utica mission was awesome, they seem to be just as consecrated as our wonderful missionaries. Elder Blosch and I gave a training to the leadership on the four pillars of a celestial mission (Attitude, diligence, obedience, gospel knowledge). The training went well. We also had a meeting with the other assistants and President Vest. There was a lot to discuss about. Elder Blosch and I are taking on a lot of responsibilities we didn't have before! Right as we got home we exchanged with the Buffalo Zone Leaders, Elder Perry stayed in Rochester while Elder Blosch went to Buffalo. Also right at 10:30 I was turning off all the lights in the appartment and stubbed my pinky toe HARD! Possible broke it. It was hard to get to sleep after an incident like that lol
Saturday
It was an awesome day! It was raining so elder Perry and I went preaching in the rain. We had two lessons before we exchanged back. One was with Tommy. We went in thinking we would just invite him to church but we felt the spirit tell us to invite him to be baptised. It was one of the most powerful moments on my mission, he accepted and will be baptised August 3rd. After that we drove all the way to Buffalo and exchanged back.
Sunday
It's always like trying to control a circus when trying to get our people rides to church and then trying to keep track of them at Church. We had four people at Church and two of them had kids. Rowdy. That all I have to say about church. We worked the rest of the day and found a few new people to teach.
