I am pumped! There is so much good happening, this week was just one pick me up after another with Tan and Julius coming to church, getting to go minister to an Elder with President Pickett, and miracles happening in Cookeville (and all over).
I should say that last monday feels like a month ago, transfer week is just crazy with all the things that take place. The roughest part was probably the night before taking the missionaries to the airport... we didnt get too much sleep. Elder Hagler and Elder Love were both going home, both of which were companions for a time. The roughest part was definitely seeing them wave from the other side of the gate at the airport... yea that still stings
So moving on! The next transfer is start off at light speed as we have a good amount of things to get ready for MLC and zone conferences and things. What made it crazier was when President Pickett called up and said he wanted me to come with him to go and help out an Elder that was having some struggles, I mainly ministered to his companions when we got there but it was a great experience to practice more of the ministering concept
Getting Tan to church was a straight miracle. Tan is a referral we recieved who ordered a Book of Mormon. He is super excited for baptism and church (Elder Cordner and Ostler put him on date while I was with President) but when we texted him sunday morning he said he was feeling sick. We swung by as directed by the spirit and ended up giving him a blessing and talked to him about setting a habit of coming to church even when it is not most convenient. It seemed he wouldnt come this week until mid way through a sentance he popped up and said he was coming!
Julius has been going through some serious adversity with his family and wanting to get baptized. That being said he has felt the spirit many times and has been to church for quite a few.
The last thing that has me stoked that I just found out today is that Ted's girlfriend back in Cookeville just recieved her witness that the church is true! Its amazing to think how this will affect their family into the eternities :) The gospel is so true! Thus the swelling in my heart
With that I must say I will do better with sending some picutres. Dont forget to look for the Miracles in life! The root "mira" in miracle means "to look", its when we look for the Lords hand that we will see it.
