No Unhallowed Hand
Wow what a week! And what an exciting week to come. Truly I feel like the work is on fire and is just getting hotter. The Carroll family, Madison and Savannah, and many others are doing really well. Ted Rice back in Cookeville just went to the temple and had an amazing experience, we are going to the temple this week with a recent convert here. And then we will also be having zone conference with Elder Gong and then a meeting the next day with some recent converts we are taking to go see him. Things are staying action packed!
Really there is just such a difference in spirit that I feel here this time. Im not sure if its from the restoration continuing to unfold, or from the mission rising in vision and intensity, or from just the change in myself and my companionship, but most likely a combination of all 3 I imagine.
We had 4 people at church on Sunday which was super exciting. Landon and Nicholas Carrol (Matt and their Grandma didnt come because of being tired and sick). Savannah had a really good experience at church and afterwards asked if she could be baptised with Madison as well!
We also got to do family history work with Brother Benfield as we are preparing for a temple trip this wednesday. It was amazing to see the spirit of elijah at work in his life and to get a message from Ted with the same.
We are going to be doing a lot of driving this week, but its totally worth it! Its going to be a crazy week trying to help the Carrols get to Wednesday night activities again (which they loved) and to have all the appointments that we need to get to and everything, but it certainly wont be a dull week.
With that Ill just bear my testimony of the majesty of this work. There is no work more compelling and exciting than gathering our brothers and sisters, The House of Israel, and seeing the affect that it has in their life. Its certainly changing mine. I love you all and thanks for all the great examples you have provided for me!
