Hey everyone! Wow, another week has passed by so fast and I can't even believe it! Where is the time going! Sweet, well here are a few of the things that I have been doing this week
First we have some new investigators and that is always something good! One guy we met really humbled me! We were just out walking on Sunday after church on our way to a members house. We saw this guy in a wheelchair from a ways back but didn't think anything about it. We usually pass by him on a day to day basis and usually just wave and smile! Well today he was sitting in his wheelchair with a big metal bar and he was trying to dig a hole in his front yard. My first reaction was wow this guy is determined, then i thought wow, that is my job, my objective! So we asked him if we could help and he graciously said yes! We talked to him for a while as we dug this hole. He told us that he had seen us pass by a lot but didn't know what we did. We told him that we are missionaries of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He said Oh, the Mormons, I have a nephew that is serving too in brazil! He didn't know about our teachings or anything so we set up a return date! Then he asked us why we were always smiling when we walked past. We told him it was because of what we know and what we teach. I thought it was super cool that he always watched us and knew who we were before we introduced ourselves. Our actions speak louder than words! I hope all of you at home are being examples to all! Represent yourself as One of the Believers! I hope you were able to take something out of that story! Talk to you next week!
