This week has been crazy! We have had tons of meetings, and done a decent amount of service! Tuesday we had the new missionary meeting, and Elder Suarez and I got to go because he is a new missionary. So, we had the opportunity to drive 2 hours to Knoxville for a 4 hour meeting, and then drive home again!! Wednesday was the Pickett's departure devotional, so once again we got to drive to Knoxville for that meeting. It was super awesome to be able to hear their testimonies and what they have learned, and get to hear their last pieces of advice. They had lots of musical numbers from the missionaries, and then spoke for a short time. Thursday we had our normal weekly district council, and then spent the rest of the day trying to get caught up on what we are supposed to do normally! Saturday we got to go help a ward member move his wood pile from against his house to his back yard. It turns out that it had been attracting small critters into the house, and they didn't like that much. And then today we had the awesome opportunity to go dig up a sewer line that is plugged. Luckily it wasn't too deep. It took about two hours, but it was great to be able to go and do some hard work for a bit this week. Now for the spiritual stuff. We had the greatest lesson ever yesterday. There is a Spanish family who has been taught by the Sisters before, but they just never clicked. They came to church a few times, but didn't feel much of a drive to convert, or change their ways. We were able to visit them, and eventhough they have been taught the restoration many times, and know the story, we explained the importance of what we do as missionaries. We were able to have an awesome time, and as we were finishing and bearing our testimonies, the spirit was so strong that the Dad of the family was almost brought to tears. We will see where this goes, but we are very hopeful! This week as I have studied testimonies I have come to realize something very awesome! Our actions really do speak louder than our words. Sometimes you may thing that you are questioning your testimony, but we just need to step back and look at our actions. Are we keeping the commandments? Are we actually trying to follow God's word? Do we enjoy our church services? and all of the other small things that we do without even thinking about it!Those are a physical representation of that testimony that we have! Those are our own personal fruits of our own conversion, and we didn't even know it! Love you all!Elder Wilson
