Well, i dont have a ton to say! just that ill see you friday! the general authority that came out by the way was elder gay from the 70. it wasnt too bad. he is an ornery old fart though thats for sure. haha oh and yes i sent home 3 packages full of stuff. dont open them though! i figured you wouldnt since i addressed them to me but just to make sure! i might have presents in them. i dont remember. and in my suit cases too so ill have to go through that as soon as we get home.

oh also, what is my topic? im not sure if you told me or not. i dont remember.

the thing im going to miss most as a missionary is getting to meet new people every day and being able to testify to them of the savior. i have met a lot of great people and thats what im going to miss most is the people.

oh also just a heads up, from what im hearing is that this saturday is going to be a powder day, and im not going to elder jensens sealing. but his reception or whatever it is afterwards ill go to. which brings me to my next point, ill probably need a car for that. its from 6-8 in malad.

Dear Elder Olsen,

I thought of two song titles for my email today and wanted to use both of them so I did!! Wow I can't believe that you are finally coming home. It seemed like it would never happen and now it is just a few days away. I am so excited to see you again!! This will be the last email that I will send to you as a missionary. Unless I forget to tell you something and write sometime before Wednesday.

How has your last week been? Who is the General Authority that came to visit your mission? What do you think you will miss the most about being a missionary?

Today was a great day at church. I am not sure exactly why but I do know that I felt the spirit really strong today. I have been working pretty hard on the Sub for Santa for this year. We have had so much need this year and it has been pretty hard to meet all the needs but I think we are doing pretty well with it. I really enjoy doing this I have decided. It is a lot of work but as you always say, " Sacrifice brings forth the blessings of Heaven." It is wonderful to see how much people of this ward care about one another and want to help each other.

I have been working on getting the house ready for when you come home and when Phillip, Anna and the kids come. We cleaned out Hilary's bedroom yesterday and it looks so different! It doesn't even look like the same room. I also got most of the basement cleaned. There is still some bedding to wash and beds to make but it is much closer to being ready. I still have to clean my room and the Relief Society office and then I will be done.

Dad and I renewed our temple recommends today. President Breeze interviewed me and we talked a little about you coming home. He said that your mission President will most likely give you a temporary Temple recommend but if not he thought they could work it out if you still plan to go to Elder Jensen's wedding. President Isaac will be out of town when you get home so President Breeze will release you. I thought you would be okay with that. Also Josh and his fiance came to church today. It is the first time that I have met her she seems nice. Josh said he is planning on come to the airport when you fly in.

Hilary just started a new position at ARUP and won't be able to come to the airport but will meet us back here when you get home. Robert also doesn't get off work until 4 o'clock and will just come with Hilary. I think we will come back home and have pizza that night so anyone that wants to come and hang out is welcome to. You will finally get to meet Lucas!! He is adorable you will love him!! You will have to compete with Jeremy for favorite Uncle status though. He loves Jeremy and won't go to anyone else if Jeremy is there.

I have really enjoyed being a Missionary Momma and will miss it but I am also so very happy to have you come home!! I wasn't really sure that I wanted you to go because I had done this before and I knew what it felt like to have a son be gone for two years. It's a very long time. I wanted you to serve for you because I also knew what a mission would do for you and how much you would benefit from it and I also knew that you have a lot to offer and would make an amazing missionary. And you have!! I can't wait to hear all your stories. I still love to hear Jeremy, Ryan and Phillip talk about their missions. I hope that you will have some of your companions and friends visit so you can talk about your experiences and I can hear them.

Are you sending packages home before you leave?

The scripture that I want to share with you today is Doctrine and Covenants 18:10-15

10 Remember the worth of souls is great in the sight of God;
11 For, behold, the Lord your Redeemer suffered death in the flesh; wherefore he suffered the pain of all men, that all men might repent and come unto him.
12 And he hath risen again from the dead, that he might bring all men unto him, on conditions of repentance.
13 And how great is his joy in the soul that repenteth!
14 Wherefore, you are called to cry repentance unto this people.
15 And if it so be that you should labor all your days in crying repentance unto this people, and bring, save it be one soul unto me, how great shall be your joy with him in the kingdom of my Father!
16 And now, if your joy will be great with one soul that you have brought unto me into the kingdom of my Father, how great will be your joy if you should bring many souls unto me!

Well I will let you go for now but I am so excited to give you a hug!!
See you soon!!
I will love you forever
