Well Everyone this is it. my time as a full time missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is coming to a close. i fly in this friday and thats that! my time out here in the Oklahoma Tulsa/ Arkansas Bentonville Mission has been the most fulfilling time of my life. i cant even begin to tell you all of the miracles i have seen in my life over the past 2 years! but just to start i did complete my mission. thats a miracle just on its own! but i wanted to take this time to thank all of you out here that have in someway or another impacted me. (all in order of areas)
Michael Anthony Cash
Hal & Bard
and lastly, the Mallard Family.
these are all families and individuals that impacted me and made it possible for me to continue on my mission. they all played a part. so i want to thank each and every one of them! then not only to mention the support from behind the scenes from my parents, friends, and other family members! y'all rock! and of course the many missionary friends i have made from the MTC until now. Lastly all of my companions. Elder Peter Lopez, Elder Braydon Stubbs, Elder Jeffrey Huffman, Elder Caleb Hall, Elder Jacob Thomas, Elder Layne Henderson, Elder Joshua Walker, Elder Joshua Jensen, Elder Isaac Gehring, Elder Joesef Ostler, Elder Logan Hill. I always learned something from each of my companions and i will forever be grateful for each of them and the things i learned form them.
For those of you who i didnt mention. you played a part as well! i have met a ton of great people that i hope to all stay in touch with and never forget. I have loved the opportunity of serving you all and hope to continue to grow with you all as i move on to this next stage of my life!
The Scripture i wanted to leave you all with comes from 2 Timothy 4:6-7
6 For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of mydeparture is at hand.
7 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, Ihave kept the faith:
My mission was not easy. I never expected it to be. there were times i could have done better. mistakes were made everyday but you know thats not what matters. i learned. i learned from my mistakes, tried my best to correct them. i learned how to rely on my savior Jesus Christ to do so. to correct those mistakes. to make the wrongs right, to help me to improve so i can better serve my brothers and sisters of Missouri, Arkansas, and Oklahoma.
I have absolutely loved my mission and am so grateful for the chance i had to serve it. i am truly going to miss it. I will forever treasure the things that i learned out here. i fought a good fight. I love you all!
