Today's the Macy's Day Parade The night of the living dead is on its way

Hey everyone! this week was much better! we got a new car! we still have to share it but we are riding around in style in our brand new 2017 chevy malibu! im really enjoying it, its really nice!

so anyways, we went and saw our most progressing investigator and we were like hey we apologize we probably didnt really make it very clear why we even come by so heres whats up.. and they didnt say they werent interested so thats good! he's been reading the book of mormon a lot too! almost to jacob so thats really good!

also got to go follow up with some potential investigators and we were talking with this one guy who said we could come back, so of course we did, and if it were him that answered the door the next time we came back we probably just wouldve been sent on our way but his wife answered it and she let us in and they both accepted book of mormons! so thats really cool! then when we talk to the ward council about it the 1st counselor in the bishopric actually knew the guy so we were pretty excited about that!

good things seem to be happening. slowly. but they do.

so some of you remember this assignment from last year, and some of you are new to my weekly emails. every year on thanksgiving my brothers and i have a tradition of listening to "macy's day parade." by green day. so thats my assignment again for you all. its a great song and you will all love it, i promise.

so here is the scripture for the week!

Alma 34:38
38 That ye contend no more against the Holy Ghost, but that ye receive it, and take upon you the name of Christ; that ye humble yourselves even to the dust, and worship God, in whatsoever place ye may be in, in spirit and in truth; and that ye live in thanksgiving daily, for the many mercies and blessings which he doth bestow upon you

remember to be thankful this week! i am very thankful for the opportunity i have had to serve a mission at this time in my life and also very thankful for the people whose lives i have been able to be apart of and the impact they have made on my life. i am also thankful for my savior and his sacrifice for me. like i said, i am thankful to have this opportunity to preach the gospel of jesus christ. it has been the biggest blessing in my life.

i love you all. have a great week!
