i got to see elder lopez this week as he is back out here visiting so that was awesome! and yeah next week ill send out a scripture i have just been pretty forgetful lately.
i have loved my mission and sad that it ends in a little over 3 months. this very well could be my last area. and i want to make sure i go home on a high note. i dont want to go home feeling bitter about the area or the leadership or anything so ive been doing a lot of praying to help me out with that.

Hello Elder Olsen!
How are you? Are you settling into Grove? Have you been able to meet your investigators? How is Elder Ostler? Where is he from? I know he hasn't been out for very long.
I have been reading some of your previous letters to help me past the time. Do you remember when you got to Ft. Smith how you told me how dead the area was and how not much was going on? I hope you realize what an impact you made in that area and how much success you had there. It was the same for Ava also. Just keep working as hard as you do and you will soon love Grove and the people there as much as you loved all your other areas. Cassville is of course the exception to that. I don't think you will ever like anywhere as much as you loved Cassville. Anyway you are awesome and just keep doing what you've been doing and everything will turn out wonderfully.
The missionaries in our Stake now have to cover two Stakes instead of just one. It's been along time since we've had to share with another stake. For awhile we had one set of missionaries for every two wards in the Stake. I really liked that there was a lot of stuff happening then. I think the number of missionaries is down so that is why that is happening.
I had the pins taken out of my toes this week. I was really very nervous about it and pretty scared to have it done. It turned out to not be too bad at all. I mostly couldn't feel it at all with the exception of just at the very ends of my toes but even that wasn't bad. It hurt worse to have the stitches taken out. At least that is done now and I won't have to worry about it anymore. I now have to exercise those two toes by pushing them down at the joint without pushing on the toes themselves(they still have screws in them). I am not being very successful at it yet. I hope they will start moving better soon. My big toe is moving pretty well now. I have to exercise it also but I move it back and forth.
I am going to go back to work starting tomorrow. It will be nice to be out of the house again but I just wish I could go back just part time for a little while. The problem with that is that I can't get in and out of the house or car by myself.
Melissa Farnworth went in for emergency surgery on Saturday morning. She was experiencing really bad pain in her abdomen so she went to the ER. They removed 8 inches of bowel and a mass/tumor the size of a lemon. The doctor said he didn't think it looked like cancer but they can never say for sure until they biopsy it. They will have the test results back early this week they think. They haven't told Joseph yet though. They are going to wait until they know the results. It might be really hard for him to hear this just 4 days after he entered the MTC. If you could pray for her that would be great. Also Sister Cutler is having another heart proceedure done on Wednesday so if you could pray for her that would be great also.
Ryan and Carolyn spoke in church today. We didn't go listen to them speak but Hilary and Robert went out to watch Lucas for them while they spoke. Carolyn's niece, Samantha went also and then she also came to dinner with them tonight. It was nice to have her. She is a very nice girl but she is a little quiet.
Dad has been working on the path this week. He is digging up the pavers in the middle and going to widen it and putting them together. I just wanted to dig them up and put them all together but he wants to widen it and I can't help so it is going to be wider. I guess that is just less to weed and take care of which is okay with me.
I was able to go to all 4 1/2 hours of church today (that includes ward council). It was the first time that I had taken the sacrament since July. I didn't realize how much I had missed it. Also during the sacrament service I decided to read in the Book of Mormon. I turned to 3 Nephi and started reading it so I wanted to share it with you. I thought it was interesting that it was the scriptures that I just happened to turn to when I was thinking about the Sacrament. Anyway it's 3 Nephi 18:5-12. I tried to copy and paste it but is wouldn't work so maybe you could look it up. I really miss it when you share scriptures with me. What have you been studying in the scriptures?
I have also been wondering how you are feeling about your mission experience. I hope you are enjoying it and are happy that you made the decision to serve a mission. You are an awesome missionary!!
I mailed you a letter in the middle of the week but I am not sure if you got it yet or not. Dad also got your package in the mail yesterday so it should be there mid-week sometime.
Take care of yourself, pray always, work hard, wash you sheets and enjoy your mission. Also please send pictures and a tag picture.
