It's Finally Summer

alright dont forget to call the hospital!

hi mother! things are going great! i just want it made known the hospital told me to call them in like 3 days or something like that to set up a return appointment but by then i had given up the crutches and was walking on it so i decided against that.

but yes the work is going well! we had back to back baptisms the past 2 weeks, we have a week off, then we have another on july 9th. then on july 23rd we have a family that will hopefully be baptized by then. theres 5 in the family but one of them is an atheist so probably just 4 baptisms, unless she acts on what weve told her. but were not a hundred percent certain on that yet. they accepted the invite to be baptized, but said they would pray about it. so hopefully! so yeah the work is really picking up here and we hope it continues cause its stirring up the ward a little bit.

anyways, i havent been feeling so hot lately. so im going to get going. its just post nasal drip, but its rather annoying. ive been taking emergen-c. also going to be on benadryl for a bit thanks to that wasp. my hand is swollen a little and is itchy, but nothing i havent experienced before. if it gets bad like my arm did ill talk to the mission nurse, sister loveland is aware of the situation as well since she was in the area when it happened and she helped me take care of it. she told me to put mud on it and hold it on there while we drove to our appointment.

anyways, ill get going now. love you!

How are you? How is your ankle? How is the work? Is it still picking up? Is it still really hot there?

We got a call today from the hospital that you went to with your ankle. They want your Social Security number and said you were supposed to call them when you got home but never did. I actually didn't get the call because I was outside watering the lawn but they left a message and want me to call them back tomorrow. I hope I remember to do that.

Dad and I went to help work on the float the Stake is building for the 24th of July parade. We helped paint the foam flowers. It looks like it is going to really nice. I will try to send you a picture when it gets finished.

Peter Krauel went to the temple yesterday. He will be leaving really soon he has less than a month now. Joseph Farnworth is starting to get all his shopping done. He doesn't even need to have any suits at all. I would think maybe he would need one for the MTC but I guess not. It certainly is interesting. He already has his passport and visa. That seems like that happened really fast. When Jeremy, Ryan and Phillip left it took a lot longer to get the passports and Visas back. Maybe they have gotten better at the process.

Dad has been working on the Vet again. He has been putting in the headlights that he got for Father's Day. He needs a different kind of wrench that he doesn't have and he also can't do it by himself. Maybe he can get Ryan or Jeremy to help him someday.

Yesterday I worked in the yard all day. It wasn't as hot yesterday as it had been so it wasn't too bad. It was plenty warm though. I got tired of pulling weeds all the time so I sprayed them with round up and covered them with mulch. I hope it works because I have other things that I need to get done. I want to clean Hilary's old bedroom and get it looking sort of presentable. Hopefully I can get it done soon.

Aunt Mary messaged me this week about the Olsen Family Reunion. She is trying to get it all planned and I had hardly even thought about it at all. I decided that I should at least think about it. It really isn't that far away. The reunion is on July 10th this year. Hilary and Robert aren't going to be here to go to the reunion this year. They are going to go to Denver for their anniversary.

I saw Josh on Friday and talked to him for like 2 seconds. He had taken the day off to go to Lagoon. There is a new coaster at Lagoon this year that I am sure you will like to ride when you get home.

Phillip got a commendation this week for an helping with an Amber Alert. I will send you the picture that Anna sent me if I can. If it goes through you will be able to read the details. I will also sent you a picture of Lucas' first ice cream cone. It was pretty cute. He really liked it and wouldn't give it up.
I think I got the pictures to send. I hope so anyway.

Not much has been happening this week except just working like always. It will be nice to get a bit of a break this weekend and go to see Phillip

The scripture that I want to share with you is Romans 1: 3-7. I was looking for something about Christ's atonement and I found this and really liked it.
3 Concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh;
4 And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead:
5 By whom we have received grace and apostleship, for obedience to the faith among all nations, for his name:
6 Among whom are ye also the called of Jesus Christ:
7 To all that be in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ

Well I guess I will go for now. Take care of yourself, don't play basketball, work hard and stay focused. Send some pictures!! Did you take any of the baptism? Do you need or want anything?

I will love you forever
