Up coming baptism

this isnt my reply, but just while im thinking about it, in the package could you send me a new white shirt? preferably short sleeved? either a 16 1/2 or 17? im losing weight again. but to be fair i gained a lot in ava. but that and some laundry detergent boost packs things? those are nice. were having a baptism coming up and in comparison to my baptism pants my white shirts are basically gray. im not sure ill be doing the baptizing, but it is a possibility. i usually try to have the members do it tho, but he seems to like/know me more than everyone else. so just in case. thank you!
hey so i dont really have a ton of attention right now for emailing. (im super burnt out on emailing) but just think soon you can just ask me a bunch of questions and i wont be burnt out, but ill miss here though but thats alright. basically what im saying is ill keep it short.

so yeah were still working with the spanish branch but literally every day something interferes with our language study so we havent been able to get spanish down at all. he served in a zebra (spanish and english) area for 6 weeks and so did i before serving with each other so we know basically the same amount. which is none. but we had dinner a couple times last week with some of the branch members and they helped us out and taught us some stuff.

but the work has really been picking up. the members are starting to wake up and i think its just from us working our tails off and just doing everything we possibly can. i think the members have been seeing that and are now getting a move on. since elder gehring got here not even two weeks ago we have gained 5 new investigators and set 3 new baptismal dates. all of which are for this month. one this saturday, one the saturday after that, and one the saturday after that. were pretty sure the one this saturday isnt going to happen cause he didnt come to church yesterday, and just last time we met with him he brought up that he worships other deities as well (thats a first to hear for me, especially in the bible belt) but so were going to have to go over and be blunt and bold. but the next two are on track and progressing!

thats about all for now. love you! thank you for everything you do!

Dear Elder Olsen,

How are you? How is your Spanish coming along? Are you still working with the Spanish Branch? Does Elder Gehring know any Spanish? How is the work? Is it picking up any yet? How is your knee? How is the weather? It got really hot here finally.

We get to have the Missionaries for dinner again this week. We are feeding them on Friday and I haven't decided what to feed them yet. Maybe we will grill burgers or something. We did steaks the last time they came so I don't want to do that again. Elder Dolan loves it when I give them fresh fruit so I will be sure to do that.

It's been a pretty busy week with Relief Society but that isn't anything new. We did some visiting for sisters birthdays and I was able to meet two sisters that I have never met before. I had been to their houses before and was never able to meet them. One of the sisters is quite anti but let us come in and visit as long as we didn't talk about church at all. It was really great to get to know her and talk to her. She actually talked about the church more than we did. I figure at least she know who we are now and if she ever needs anything she can call us. I also visited some people on Thursday also. I taught Relief Society today. I decided to discuss the talk given in General Women's Meeting by Neil F. Armstrong. She is pretty amazing!! Her talk was on how women can help build up the Kingdom of God. It was a very spiritual experience for me. I had listened to and read several talks and had originally thought I would want to discuss one by Russel M. Nielson from last October's Conference. As I was reading Sister Marriot's talk I knew that it was the one I needed to present to the Sisters of this ward. I had questions come into my mind to ask the sisters which is usually one of the hardest things for me to think of. The Sisters of the ward were very involved in the discussion and responded positively to the questions. The spirit was so very strong and it was a really great day at church. The spirit was also very strong during Fast and Testimony meeting also.

I have finally gotten all the flower beds weeded which is always nice!! Of course by now weeds are starting to grow back into the first beds I weeded. I haven't planted flowers around the trees in the backyard yet. Dad wants to make the rings bigger and cut out some of the tree roots so I am waiting for him to do that before I plant.

Dad has been working on getting the Vet ready to drive. He changed the oil and took off some hoses from the headlights. He did get it started on Saturday but he didn't drive it yet. Hopefully he will be able to drive it soon and we can go for a ride in it.

Joseph Farnworth is expecting his Mission call this week. His mom came to talk to me after Relief Society and asked about you. She is kind of struggling with Joseph leaving. I can understand that but I also know what blessings come to it for everyone and that it is worth the sacrifice.

Dee is still in Europe and they are having really bad weather there. She is in Paris today and can't go to the Louvre Museum because it is closed due to all the rain. I guess it is flooding everywhere. I am not really sure when she is coming home but it should be soon she's been gone over a week now.

I love Mondays so much now because I get to here from you!! I hope to see some pictures of your cute face this week!!

My scripture this week is from my lesson Acts 2:36-37. Sister Marriot used it to talk introduce her theme of what the women of the church should do.

6 Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.
37 ¶Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?

Is there anything that you need or want? I am hoping to get you a package in the mail soon. At least by next week sometime.

Pray always, be obedient, listen to the spirit, work hard and Finish Strong!!

I will love you forever
