yeah i bet that would be hard for the missionaries, thats when the ward should be there for those people the missionaries get to church cause they wont always be there! but no, the ward really isnt getting any better, i was thinking this whole transfer how i think elder gehring would be perfect for this ward to help them get more involved and know here we go! i think the two of us together will get them going!
the work was really good this week though! nothing crazy happened except for that experience i talked about in my weekly email! all is good!
my knees hurt, and so sister loveland told me to take ibuprofen twice a day, ice them, Epsom salt bathes, and use this stuff called arnicare? i think thats what it is. its been helping when i do all of those things all in one day. i just dont want to have to keep buying Epsom salt, but oh well. and really dont want to stop playing basketball for a while. that just seems like a bummer, but i should probably do that, ive been thinking on that. cause i really want to go skiing when i get home. so i think thats more worth it than playing ball out here.
yeah speaking of summer i really dont want it to be summer, i really like the spring here! the green, the different colors of early spring trees and flowers, the tornadoes and severe thunderstorms. but summer everything is just really green and i love that though, dont get me wrong, the sky is a pretty deep blue, but the heat and humidity are just too much. especially down here. this is the hottest most humid part of the mission. im basically ready to die. the moves this past week were pretty miserable.
anyways, not too much else to say.

How are you? How has your weather been? It looks like you've had some bad weather today or will have tomorrow. Hopefully it's not too bad though. How is your knee? Maybe you should just take a rest from basketball for awhile. I know it might not be too much fun but it might be the best thing to do. You don't want to hurt it anymore. Did you get a new knee brace? Have you put anything on it like icy hot or anything? Have you iced it?
Logan had a birthday party today at Chuck E. Cheese's. Anna posted quite a few pictures on facebook so I will try to send some to you. It looks like he had a really good time. It would be fun to be able to be there. Oh well, maybe someday.
How is the work? It is any better this week? Is the ward doing any better? I really do miss when we had a set of Missionaries that covered the two wards that met in our building. Now that they cover that whole stake it is much harder for everyone. Last week in church we had an investigator and a less active member that they are working with and the missionaries weren't here. Today one of them came but neither of those two people came. I bet it is pretty frustrating for them. I really do like these missionaries though. I think I told you Elder Hunt reminds me of you.
Speaking of missionaries, Peter Krauel got his mission call this week. He has been called to serve in the Florida Tampa Mission and he leaves July 20th. They have exactly the same amount of time to get ready as we did. He got his call on May 19th and leaves July 20th. You got your call on October 16th and left December 17th. The Krauel's are very excited and Allyson is very excited that he is serving in the States. I can understand that I am pretty excited you were called to serve in the states as well. Peter will be English speaking. Joseph Farnwoth just got his wisdom teeth removed so he will be able to submit his papers soon. It didn't take very long for Peter to get his call. He just submitted his papers last week.
I was able to get quite a lot of yard work done this weekend. I got the front flower beds weeded and planted. That was actually pretty amazing considering how much it rained this weekend. I had to do it though because I just never have time to get much yard work done these days. I also got the back flower bed weeded and ready to plant but didn't get the flowers in yet. I ran out of time. Oh well I am sure it will eventually get done.
We did manage to plant the garden over at the church this week also. We planted it on Wednesday but haven't been back over there since. Life is just way busy these days.
I went to a baby shower on Saturday for Megan Rytting Gerber. She is having a baby girl and is due on June 1st. This will be Cheryl and Todd's 11th grandchild. That is so fun!!
It's pretty cold here today and Dad even turned the heat on for awhile. I wasn't even home from church yet so you know it must have been pretty cold. I am so ready for it to be summer. I love summer!!
Dad and I went over to help make flowers for the float the Stake is making for the 24th of July Parade. It was kind of fun and didn't take too long. I am sure we will have to go again to help on it some more because is the High Counselor over it.
The scripture I want to share this week is Mosiah 14:4-6. I have always loved this scripture. It is also found in Isaiah I think.
4 Surely he has borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows; yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.
5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
6 All we, like sheep, have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquities of us all.
Take care of yourself and your knee, stay focused, work hard, pray always and be obedient.
