hey mom! i dont really have too much more to add to what i said in my weekly. im not really sure how i feel about the area. i love the area itself, but the ward is just really frustrating. its got so much potential but until something changes nothing is going to happen. and nothing is going to change, thats the problem. im thankful for the spanish branch beyond all belief tho. it really was a humbling experience to be seeing just how much they love the missionaries and now that they dont have any they miss them. i think some areas could benefit from the missionaries getting taken out. just so then they could see really just how much they do for the ward and how much they need the missionaries. that and they would do missionary work too. thats how its supposed to be. were not the ones to be finding. thats the members job. it even says so in the church handbook 2. that the members are supposed to be supplying us with people to teach and things to do. member missionary work is so important and the work just doesnt happen if the members dont do anything.
ive just been fairly frustrated with the ward this week. but all in all it was a good week. nothing else to complain about really. there was something that i wanted but i dont really remember what it was. so if i remember ill let you know somehow. anyways, i love you!

Hi Elder Olsen,
How are you? We have been watching your weather this past week and it seemed like you had some pretty bad weather. Did you have any tornado warnings or anything? There were some really big tornadoes is some places. How is everything else? How is the work?
Dad finished the patio/courtyard in the front this week. It looks just like I envisioned that it would and I love it!! I was going to take a picture and send to you but it's dark now. I will have to remember to send you a picture next week. I still want to get a little table to put out there but I haven't had time to go look for one yet.
I haven't had much time to get any yard work done yet but I did get all my pots planted yesterday. I counted them this year and I have 27 pots to plant. No wonder it takes so long and so many flowers. I do like it when they are all planted and starting to bloom. I am very excited for summer to be here this year. Hopefully I will be able to get the yard weeded and the rest of the flowers planted soon. I bought most of the flowers already at least I hope that I have.
We went to Alex's and Lizzy's wedding reception on Friday night. I took a picture of them to send to you. They had a Super Hero theme which was kind of fun. I should have taken a picture of their cake it was also a Super Hero theme. There is picture on Facebook maybe I will see if I can figure out how to share it with you.
Emily Preston also got married on Friday but we weren't invited so we didn't go so I can't tell you anything about it. I heard that it was nice though.
I lost my church keys this week and I was a little worried about where they were. It turns out that Brother Phelps had them. I had left them in the door of the kitchen at the church when I went in after church to return a knife. My hands were really full with pans from all the strawberries and I just forgot to take the keys. I was really happy to get them back. The really funny thing is that the Relief Society President from the other ward left hers in a closet door of the Relief Society Room last week too.
Lucas is so cute!! He really likes to play outside so we go outside quite a bit when he comes over. Jeremy gave him a bubble mower for his birthday and he loves to push it and watch all the bubbles. We put the Solar Water fountain in the front on the patio and he really liked playing in the water. It was pretty cute to watch.
There was a change in the High Priest group leadership today. Todd Rytting is the new High Priest Group leader and his Assistants are Ted Hintze and Bother Davies-Lowe (you don't know him).
Not much really happened this week which is so weird because I have been really busy. I guess that's the way it is sometimes.
The scripture that I want to share with you is Mosiah 26:21-24.
21 And he that will hear my voice shall be my sheep; and him shall ye receive into the church, and him will I also receive.
22 For behold, this is my church; whosoever is baptizedshall be baptized unto repentance. And whomsoever ye receive shall believe in my name; and him will I freelyforgive.
23 For it is I that taketh upon me the sins of the world; for it is I that hath created them; and it is I that granteth unto him that believeth unto the end a place at my right hand.
24 For behold, in my name are they called; and if theyknow me they shall come forth, and shall have a place eternally at my right hand.
Is there anything that you need or want? Take care of yourself, wash your sheets, be obedient, focus on the work and pray always.
