Time Grabs You By The Wrist Directs You Where To Go

Well everyone, its been quite a week. i cant really think of anything too out of the ordinary, im a grill master now, so thats pretty exciting, i still dont speak a lick of spanish but its whatevs.

monday: its been a while since ive had a companion who can stomp on me in basketball. #humbled.

Tuesday: played some soccer with the spanish branch so that was sweet! none of them were expecting the white lightning! (id like to point out ive never actually been called that, but it would be pretty cool..) but i came out of nowhere and shocked them all. for those of you who didnt know this, and many of you dont, i played soccer for about 10 years. so when i started juking, heads were turning. #alphamale. jokes, i definitely wasnt the best one there, but i held my own.

Wednesday: had district meeting with the other district out in this place called poteau, OK. check it out. i dare you. we rolled up and my jaw hit the floor board. i was in awe. "is that... a mountain?!?" fun fact: poteau has the worlds tallest hill. 1,999 ft. #soclose #thelittleenginethatcould. that night we also played some basketball with the ward and some non-members, soccer was with some non-members too actually. but basketball was awful, we have officially self diagnosed me with what is called "jumpers knee" and man let me tell you, it hurts a lot. so basketball wasnt too great for me. i kinda just hung around the outside and shot, or cherry picked under the rim.

thursday was sweet! we had to go on exchanges with the assistants and i was with elder jones, he is this fiery red head from portland whos awesome. seriously, the reddest hair i have ever seen. but it was a good time. we taught this way prepared family they have been teaching for a while and are so close to get getting baptized. it was a good time.

friday on our way back from bentonville i of course had to stop in fayetteville and eat at whataburger (water burger) thats seriously how it sounds when people say it. but its actually pronounced: what-a-burger. just when you say it quick is when it sounds like water burger. and while i was there i actually saw a non member guy i had associated with back in my prairie grove days!

saturday was just the grind. thats all there is too it. weve been going through our ward list which is way too long and so yeah. it was the grind.

sunday was more of the same.

this week i have been focusing on 2 nephi 31. i really like verse 20.

20 Wherefore, ye must press forward with a steadfastnessin Christ, having a perfect brightness of hope, and a love of God and of all men. Wherefore, if ye shall press forward, feasting upon the word of Christ, and endure to the end, behold, thus saith the Father: Ye shall have eternal life.

its fairly self explanatory, but i love it. anyways, ill let you all get back to your normal lives now. i love you all!
