All around me are familiar faces Worn out places, worn out faces
Hey everyone! this week was really cool!
so im pretty low on time so i need to get running soon so ill just give you all the low down real quick.
this past week we had some ups and downs, to start off with the bad news... found out that we have led in our water.. so thats always a drag, i think. ive never experienced this before, the only thing thats frustrating about it is that we have to buy a ton of water..
and on the good note: this past week the members were just like hey need some new people to go see? and were like yeah! so this past week the members were just taking us out and we met 7 new less active people/families and even met a part member family i didnt know. and we got a referral out of the whole situation.
so, what can be learned from all of this? help out your local missionaries! tell them about your less active or non-member friends! take them there while you are at it!
the message of the week is isaiah 53:3-5 to go along with this easter we just celebrated. take a step back and be thankful for what we have received through christ.
