Happy Easter

hey mom! so the work is pretty good. its kind of been slowing down lately but thats alright. we keep working and doing what we can.

i would like a red and white ncaa basketball, you can get them at walmart for like 10 dollars, but i dont think i need one, it would be kind of hard to transfer.

yeah everything is greening up over here and it makes me pretty excited! i loved the spring out here, minus the humidity of course. my spring fever is acting up, and by that i mean my energy level is really high like all the time, which isnt necessarily a bad thing though.

i need to get running right now, but hopefully i can get a letter out this week.

love you!

Hello to my very favorite Missionary!!

Happy Spring!! I am also so happy when Spring is finally here. We are still supposed to have snow this coming week but that's okay because it will probable just melt soon after that. It hasn't really been warm this past week either but oh well I do have a lot of daffodils blooming so that helps me be happy.

How are you? How is the work? I hope and pray all is going well for you!!

We didn't have regular church today because we were able to go to the Provo City Center Temple dedication. It was really spiritual and I feel really blessed that we were able to attend it. They talked about how they rebuilt it out of the ashes (because it burned down) and how we can rebuild our lives also through Christ. We were also able to participate in the Hosanna Shout which is really cool especially because it is Palm Sunday and Christ was welcome into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday with Shouts of Hosanna. It is a very beautiful day today also the Sun is shining and it is just so beautiful!!

We fed the missionaries this week again. I made root beer pulled pork, coleslaw, funeral potatoes and fruit salad. Elder Dolan really liked the fruit salad. He thanked me for making it before dinner even started and seemed very excited to have fruit. I decided that I would always serve fruit to the missionaries from now on. They were on exchanges again (I think their exchange day is on Friday). Elder Rodriguez was with Elder Dolan and Elder Rodriguez is on a trial mission for 3 transfers I guess. He is expecting his mission call to serve somewhere else soon. He is from Payson. I told him I bet his mother was really happy about his being so close. He is excited to get a call to serve somewhere else. I always love to have the missionaries here. They always have such a great spirit. Oh also, do you remember Sister Pontius? She was here when you got your call and when you left on your mission. This was her first area. Anyway she is going home soon. I think that will be all of the sisters that served in our ward that have gone home now.

Carolyn's dad isn't doing very well. He is in the ICU on feeding and breathing tubes. He is doing some better now and they are more hopeful than they were but he will still be in ICU for about another week. If you could please pray for him that would be great. His name is Walter Toone in case you couldn't remember.

We will be getting your package together and in the mail tomorrow or Tuesday so if there is anything else that you need or want let me know. Dad transferred $100 into your account yesterday and I will send you some money or gift cards in you package. Hopefully that will be enough.

The scripture I want to share with you today is about Palm Sunday. It is John 12:12-16.

12 ¶On the next day much people that were come to the feast, when they heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem,
13 Took branches of palm trees, and went forth to meet him, and cried, Hosanna: Blessed is the King of Israel that cometh in the name of the Lord.
14 And Jesus, when he had found a young ass, sat thereon; as it is written,
15 Fear not, daughter of Sion: behold, thy King cometh, sitting on an ass’s colt.
16 These things understood not his disciples at the first: but when Jesus was glorified, then remembered they that these things were written of him, and that they had done these things unto him.

Have a very Happy Easter!! I love you!! Be obedient, pray always, trust in the Lord and be happy!!

I will love you forever
